ASL's Commitment to Privacy

This privacy statement has been created in order to demonstrate ASL's commitment to privacy and discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for the ASL web site.

Statement

ASL does not collect personal information on this site other than names and email addresses submitted to us for the purpose of sending out requests for information submitted via our on-line enquiry form. Our web site log files record standard information such as IP addresses visiting the site, the pages visited and the time at the site. This information is used to analyse the use of the web site.

Information we gather will never be given away, sold or disclosed to third parties, however in certain instances requests for information may be passed to one of our agents who is better able to deal with the request e.g. requests for information from a Japanese customer may be better handled in a local language by our Japanese agent.

We will only email you if explicitly ask us to e.g., to respond to a request or because you explicitly asked to join our email list.

ASL is committed to privacy and we will not arbitrarily change these policies.

Information Collected by ASL

ASL collects the following via our web site:

	Standard log file information such as: TCP/IP address of people who browse the site, the pages visited and times of visits
	Email addresses and names of those requesting our newsletter
	Email addresses and names of those requesting information via our on-line enquiry form, and the enquiry information
	Email address and the name of people who write to ASL

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our Internet Presence Provider provides user id and password access control to all web captured information (TCP/IP address information).
Information at ASL is stored on a password protected network file server.

No one other than ASL employees have access to our newsletter email list or our contacts database.

Correcting, updating, or deleting your information

Although this web site does not request contact information to allow use of the site, such information is collected when individuals subscribe to our mailing list or send requests for information via our on-line enquiry form.

Anyone on the email list may request removal or correction of their information by emailing us at webmaster@aslltd.co.uk
